[Religious issues have always been a significant challenge among religious communities in multicultural Indonesia. Therefore, efforts to strengthen religious moderation are essential to maintain harmony among diverse religious groups in the country. This study focuses on the practice of religious moderation in Indonesia through the perspective of Thomas Hobbes’ philosophy of realism. The author employs a qualitative method (library research) with a descriptive-analytical approach. The research questions addressed in this study are as follows: 1. How can Thomas Hobbes’ philosophy of realism be adapted to support religious moderation in Indonesia? 2. How can the implementation of religious moderation based on Hobbes’ philosophical realism strengthen social stability and prevent interfaith conflicts in Indonesia? The findings of this study reveal that Hobbes’ philosophy of realism offers a robust theoretical framework to support religious moderation in Indonesia. Through a holistic approach grounded in the principles of the social contract, Indonesia can sustainably enhance interfaith harmony. This perspective underscores that harmony is not merely a product of state policies but also a result of the collective awareness of society to coexist peacefully.]
