PENERAPAN METODE SAINTIFIK DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN ISLAM SUATU KAJIAN LITERATUR

Indonesia's literacy index shows a significant increase from decade to decade, based on a survey conducted by The World Bank. This is also reflected in the Qur'anic literacy proficiency index which continues to progress every year, indicating the development of literacy in general in Indonesia. The curriculum implemented by the government aims to improve education in Indonesia through programs offered within the framework of Independent Learning-Independent Campus (MBKM) and a scientific approach. However, in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI), some subjects, such as Aqidah, are difficult to explain scientifically. The purpose of this study is to offer alternative solutions to these problems by integrating the MBKM program. This study uses a qualitative literature study method with a critical paradigm and inductive analysis. The results of the study show that the humanitarian program in the MBKM curriculum can be an effective solution, because through direct experience, students can be emotionally involved and empathically. Thus, they are expected to be able to better understand and interpret Islamic religious concepts in depth through this experience.
