ZAKAT AND CASH WAQF DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY RELATED TO SHARIA FINANCIAL MARKET DEPTH

Abstract

This article attempts to analyze how the development of the role of zakat and waqf in the modern economy. This is motivated by conditions where zakat and waqf play a role in the economy. That zakat and waqf have a very important role in this modern economy. On the other hand, the development of zakat and waqf has been increasingly rapid and has excellent potential in economic development in Indonesia, especially in this modern economy and certainly provides benefits to the community. Several countries show success in managing zakat and waqf so that it shows that it has quite good potential.
