Sunan Kalijaga International Journal on Islamic Educational Research (SKIJIER) is a biannual, peer‑reviewed, open‑access journal published by the Graduate Program of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Education at Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The journal provides a forum for the dissemination of original research, conceptual analyses, and empirical fieldwork in Islamic education, fostering the development of both theory and practice at national and international levels. SINTA Accredited 5.

Published every May and November, SKIJIER welcomes submissions from scholars, researchers, educators, and professionals examining Islamic education from diverse perspectives—including curriculum development, educational philosophy, management and leadership, institutional history, Islamic theology, sociology, anthropology, political science, and other interdisciplinary approaches. All manuscripts must demonstrate methodological rigor, ethical compliance with international publication standards, and a clear contribution to advancing the field of Islamic education. By promoting interdisciplinary dialogue and high‑quality scholarship, SKIJIER aims to address contemporary challenges and enrich the global academic community in Islamic educational research.
